Ordering from your conservation district — the customer's page

For the district to paste into a mailer or answer the phone with. Most buyers will never read it; the ones who call will have one of these five questions.

1. When does ordering close?
It's printed under the sale name on the store: "Orders close {date}." If you don't see a date, the district hasn't set one yet — call them.

2. How do I order?
Tap a plant → choose how many → Add to cart. When you're done, Checkout: your name, email, phone (optional), and which pickup time you'll come to. Then Place order. About two minutes.

3. Do I pay a fee? How do I pay?
Most districts take check or cash at pickup — no card needed, no fee. The checkout says so in plain words: "Paying by check or at pickup costs nothing extra." Your confirmation tells you who to make the check out to and what to write on the memo line (your order number). Districts that take cards online show the card fee on the same screen before you pay.

4. It says "Sold out."
The plant stays on the page so you can see it existed. Press Join waitlist and enter your email — you'll be told if it comes back in stock. Under the sold-out plant, "Similar in stock" lists alternatives. If two people go for the last one at the same second, the one who misses is told plainly — it's not a broken website.

5. Where's my confirmation?
The page after you order is your receipt: "Your order is confirmed — a copy is on its way to {email}." Bookmark that page — the link is how you get back to your order. The email comes from orders@seedstand.org; if you reply to it, your reply goes to the district, not to SeedStand. Bring the order number to pickup.

On pickup day: come during the time you chose, tell the volunteer your name, pay if you haven't. Plants are not shipped — everything is picked up. Orders not collected during the pickup window are generally forfeited without refund (the district's policy is printed on your confirmation), so if you can't make it, contact the district before the day.

Problems with an order? Contact the district — their email and phone are on your receipt. SeedStand is the software; the district is who you bought from.
