A small software company in Michigan that decided district plant sales deserved better than a spreadsheet and two deadlines.
The company
SeedStand is built and operated by Sequel Solutions LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Michigan. We are the developer and the operator — there is no reseller, no white-label partner, and nobody else handling your district's data.

What the product is for
Every spring, conservation districts and soil-and-water districts across the United States run a seedling sale. It is often the largest single fundraiser of the year, it is usually run by one or two part-time people, and it has historically run on a paper order form with one deadline and a website with another — two deadlines, because the paper stock and the web stock were two different numbers.
SeedStand puts both channels against one inventory. A check that arrives in the mail is typed in by the district and draws down the same number an online order does. On pickup day, volunteers check people in from their own phones with no account and no password. That is the whole idea.
How we sell
Our pricing is published on the website. You do not need to book a call to see a number, you do not need to talk to us to start, and we do not run a sales team. If the price works for your district, you can sign up and begin. If it does not, you have not lost an afternoon finding out.
We also do not sell, rent, or broker your customer data. A district's mailing list belongs to that district and is exportable at any time, in full, without asking us. That is a product principle, and it is written into the privacy policy so it is also a promise you can hold us to.
Security and payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are never collected by, transmitted through, or stored on SeedStand's servers. Districts that take checks and cash — most of them — can run an entire season without any card payment at all.
